Volunteer

There’s something about getting involved in your community, isn’t there? Whether you are looking for something for just you or the entire family, Scott has many ways you can lend a hand. In fact, the Scott County Volunteer Program is a county resource that can help you connect to opportunities that make our home an even better place to live. Heck, they will even help you find the right people for an event you want to host, too. Learn about this resource and more below.

Community Action Partnership

CAP stands for Community Action Partnership, and they are one of Scott’s incredible friends. We’re lucky to have them as a part of the community, and they offer opportunities for people to share their time and talents with others. With a food shelf, thrift store, and senior nutrition programs, there are many ways to contribute. Click the link below to sign up on the CAP website.

Let's Go Fishing

The local chapter of Let’s Go Fishing is all about enriching the lives of individuals through fishing and boating excursions, and Scott’s sure glad we have them all hands on deck as a part of our community. Participants can sit back and relax with some vitamin D, or swing a pole into the water and see what they catch.
