Communities
Scott is outlined by the Minnesota River in the Minnesota River Valley, a 332-mile tributary of the Mississippi River. Over the years — especially in the previous decade or so— our communities have grown leaps and bounds, and we’re proud of how we come together to celebrate, collaborate, and create a well-loved place to call home. We’ve gathered up a few of our great places, so please, make yourself at home.
Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community
First inhabited by the Mdewakanton and Wahpeton Santee Sioux (Dakota) Indians, Scott is home to the sovereign Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux.

Prior Lake
