Resume Essentials, Wednesday, August 9th, 9:00-10:30am

Basic to intermediate approach to resume writing. Learn basics of a resume, different types/formats, what to include and what to leave out. Tips and techniques when applying through scanning systems and ways to get your resume noticed by employers. How to target resume to employers’ needs! If you’ve never done a resume, if it’s been years, or if you’ve switching careers, this class is for you! This class will be held in-person at CareerForce, West St. Paul

South of the River Hiring Event, Thursday, August 10th, 2:00-4:00pm

In-person AND online! Drop in or login to find out about jobs in the area. Connect with companies, ask questions, and learn about hiring opportunities. Registration required for Virtual, but not required for On-site. Interview Skills Workshop, CareerForce St. Paul on Tuesday, August 22nd, 1:00-2:30pm

Through this online workshop, we will help you approach your next interview with increased confidence, learn how to answer challenging interview questions, gain frameworks to structure your thoughts and answers to common questions, and develop tools and techniques to both prepare for and follow-up after the interview.
